Is this a new superfood? These tiny berries have a sweet/tart/ tangy flavour which can be quite addictive. They are a dark red colour with specks of silver. They can be eaten raw, turned into jams, tea, wine, fruit leather or dried and added to cakes.
They are rich in Vitamins A,C and E as well as containing high levels of lycopene which helps prevent diseases. The small seeds contain Omega 3 fatty acids so are also good for you.
These berries are rarely found for sale in the UK.
Not certified organic
