These bright yellow/orange berries have a very sharp flavour and are best processed in some way before eating. They can be frozen either whole or pureed then added to smoothies as needed. You can add to cakes or muffins as a substitute for blueberries. Their high pectin content makes them good for making jam.

These berries are one of the superfoods, being antioxidant, anti-inflammatory as well as containing Vitamins A and C and Omega 7 fatty acids.

Not certified organic

FarmEco operate organically and have been in the process of obtaining Soil Association certification for several years now. They are hoping to be certified organic next year, but for the moment we are happy to supply their products as Extras, with appropriate notice to our Subscribers.
